Ferris State Lands Five Student-Athletes On All-GLIAC Soccer Squad For 2022

Big Rapids, Mich. - Five members of the Ferris State University women's soccer team have earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors for the 2022 season as announced by the league on Thursday.

The postseason awards were presented in conjunction with the GLIAC Tournament banquet in Allendale and voted on by the conference's member head coaches.

FSU senior forward Isabella Zamborini earned All-GLIAC First Team honors this year while FSU had three all-conference second team choices in midfielder Jessie Bandyk, defender Lindsay Cole and at-large honoree Ella Wolf.

Additionally, senior Nikki May claimed All-GLIAC Honorable Mention kudos.

The Bulldogs will square off against rival Grand Valley State in the league tournament semifinals on Friday (Nov. 4) in Allendale starting at 6 p.m. (ET). The winner will advance to Sunday's title match set to begin at 4 p.m. (ET) at the GVSU Soccer Field.
