Thank you for your interest in the Ferris State camp program. Ferris State has been running tremendous camp programming for the past few years, and I can assure you that this year’s camps will be our best yet!

We invite you and your teammates to attend one of our soccer camps. During your days on campus in Big Rapids, you will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the growing tradition of Ferris State soccer. You will also benefit from one-on-one interaction with our energetic and successful coaching staff. Regardless of which camp you choose, you will have a great experience, have a lot of fun, meet new people and play against players from all backgrounds.  Our goal is that you leave Ferris State a better person and a better player.

Boys/Girls Bulldogs Development Academy
June 18-21 

The Bulldog Development Academy is designed for players of all levels who want to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment.  Players are given the unique opportunity to receive individual instruction from Ferris State Soccers’ coaching staff and players as well as high level coaches from around the region. 

If you are interested in playing college soccer, the Bulldog Development Academy will also allow you to showcase your skills in front of the Ferris State Soccer staff and coaches from other highly regarded programs from around the region.  Over each of the last six years of the Bulldog Development Academy, multiple players have been identified and gone on to become a part of our program.  It will also give you a taste of what college soccer is all about at one of the most beautiful campuses in the midwest using many of the same methods and facilities that the Ferris State teams use.  You will interact daily with the current players and get to know them and be able to ask them questions about the recruiting process, and you will live in the dorms and eat in the cafeterias that the students stay in and eat in during the school year.

All players will train in training groups and as teams. Goalkeepers will also receive specialized training throughout the week while the field players are trained. All players will have the opportunity to play in several full game settings as well. Each day is filled with a variety of activities to promote correct soccer technique including: small-sided games to encourage personal involvement and enhance the understanding of team concepts, technical skill and ball mastery sessions, shooting drills, and much more.

The Future Bulldogs Youth Camp focuses on the introduction and mastery of skill in a fun learning environment. This is achieved through expert coaching and lots of fun skill based soccer games. We aim to create an environment that keeps players having fun and wanting to invested in their own development long after the camp concludes. These camps are designed to help all of our players learn and improve their basic soccer skills and techniques through age appropriate training and enjoyable games. The emphasis of the camp is on FUN.

All campers receive the following benefits:

  • Ferris State Soccer Water Bottle

Boys/Girls Goalkeeping/Finishing Academy   
July 23-25

The Goalkeeping and Finishing Clinic is new camp offering with dual curriculum.  The goalkeepers will be learning details about the position like positioning and footwork while the field players will be training on the technique to score goals!  Field players and goalkeepers will be trained separately with both groups coming together for small sided games to create lots of chances for the goalkeepers to make saves, and a lot of chances for the field players to score goals.  This will be a fun camp with a lot of time spent on the technique of scoring and saving goals!

Bulldog ID Camp
Aug. 5

The camp is meant for players serious about improving their game and wanting the opportunity to showcase themselves in front of college coaches.  The Bulldog ID Camp will feature training in a focused, competitive, and fun environment. All participants will be given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the game and showcase their talents under the training instruction of the Ferris State Soccer staff and other coaches from around the region.  Our mix of high intensity training in a competitive and fun environment on the beautiful Ferris State soccer fields will give you a glimpse into life as a Ferris State Women’s Soccer player. Over each of the last six years of the Bulldog ID Camp, multiple players have been identified and gone on to become a part of our program.
