Women's Soccer To Host Two Scrimmages

Big Rapids, Mich.- The Ferris State University women's soccer team will host a pair of spring scrimmages this Saturday and Sunday (April 14 & 15) at the FSU Varsity Soccer Field in Big Rapids.

Ferris State will take on Western Michigan at 1 p.m. (ET) on Saturday. They will then face Kalamazoo College on Sunday with a 2 p.m. (ET) start time.

There is no admission fee for either contest and all Bulldog fans are invited to attend.

Ferris State finished the 2011 campaign with a 7-9-3 overall record and reached the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Postseason Tournament for the second-straight year.

Last fall's appearance in the conference tournament represented the program's fourth-ever as the Bulldogs also made the tournament in 2007 and 2008 before back-to-back trips in 2010 and 2011.
