Big Rapids, Mich. - The previously scheduled starting time has been changed for Wednesday's (Sept. 28) Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women's soccer match between Ferris State and Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich.
Wednesday's match will begin at 6 p.m. (ET) rather than the previously published time of 4 p.m. (ET). It will be played at the GVSU Soccer Fields. The game will be available via webcast at GVSULakers.com and live internet statistics will also be offered thru GameTracker.
Ferris State continues its eight-match road stretch by visiting its archrival and the defending national champion Lakers on Wednesday. GVSU is currently ranked 14th in the Division II National Rankings.
FSU enters Wednesday's tilt with a 4-4-1 overall record and a 4-1-1 mark in the GLIAC following a pair of road wins this past weekend (Sept. 23 & 25) at Ashland and Lake Erie. The Bulldogs have won three contests in a row and have not lost in their last four matchups this season.
Meanwhile, GVSU owns a 6-0-2 mark to date this campaign and is 5-0 in conference action. The Lakers are currently on a 24-game unbeaten streak dating back to Sept. 24, 2010.
