Borgman was one of 11 individuals to receive first-team all-league accolades in balloting conducted by the conference's eight head coaches.

Borgman led Ferris State with 22 points on a team-high and program all-time ninth-place tying 10 goals and two assists as a starter in all 18 Bulldog matches this season.  The 5-5 forward, who played a squad second-most 1,583 minutes this season, tallied at least a point in nine matches this fall, which included a three-goal output in a 6-1 conference victory at Ashland (9/18).  She was selected as the GLIAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week earlier this season (9/20) following a combined eight points on four goals in two appearances for the week.

For her two-year career, Borgman has compiled 33 points with 15 goals and three assists in 37 contests.  She has produced five career game-winning goals while notching a .449 shots on goal percentage and a .192 shot percentage in 2,927 minutes of action.

Borgman presently ranks tied for seventh place among Ferris State's all-time statistical leaders in career game-winning goals (five), eighth in goals (15), ninth in points (33), and 10th in minutes played (2,927).

Borgman was redshirted in her 2007 freshman season at NCAA Division I Wisconsin-Milwaukee before transferring to FSU prior to the 2008 campaign.

Ferris State concluded its 2009 season at 3-13-2 overall, which included a 3-10-1 GLIAC record under fourth-year head coach Neathan Gibson
