Ferris State Hockey "Early-Bird" Season Tickets On Sale Now
The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced "early-bird" savings for 2011-12 Bulldog men's ice hockey season tickets go on sale starting Monday, July 11.
Season tickets for the 2011-12 home contests may be ordered exclusively at this time by contacting the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888.
The 2011-12 season tickets will be on sale through Friday, Sept. 23, while single home game tickets won't be available until Monday, Sept. 26. The Bulldog Athletics Department will also be selling hockey season tickets during summer orientation on the FSU campus.
The "early-bird" season ticket prices for the 2011-12 Bulldog hockey campaign are as follows:
Ferris State Students (with valid ID) -- $85 (Includes official Dawg Pound student section long-sleeve shirt) *Student Season Tickets Order Form*
Reserved -- $175 (savings of 28%)
Faculty/Staff -- $165 (savings of 32%)
Seniors (60 yrs and older) -- $165 (savings of 32%)
K-12th grade -- $99 (savings of 28%)
Note - A $5 handling fee will be assessed for all 2011-12 season ticket orders with the exception of Ferris State Students.
The Bulldogs will make 18 regular-season home appearances at FSU's Ewigleben Ice Arena during the upcoming 2011-12 season along with a home exhibition tilt versus the University of Toronto (Ontario) on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 3:05 p.m. (EDT). The 2011-12 regular-season home opening series is scheduled for Oct. 14-15 against Rensselear Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Ferris State begins Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) action the following weekend, Oct. 21-22, as highly-regarded Miami (Ohio) comes to Big Rapids for a two-game series.
Starting times for all of FSU's home contests this season are at 7:05 p.m. (ET) but are subject to change due to the yet released CCHA television broadcast schedule. Fans are encouraged to check the Ferris State Athletics Website at www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com for periodic updates and/or changes to the 2011-12 season schedule.
Ferris State, under head coach Bob Daniels, finished the 2010-11 campaign at 18-16-5 overall with a fifth-place 12-12-4-3 CCHA ledger (43 league points). The Bulldogs were ranked among the nation's top 20 teams for the majority of the 2010-11 season.
