Big Rapids, Mich. - The nationally-ranked Ferris State University women's volleyball squad will try to keep its four-match win streak intact as the Bulldogs hit the road for two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) matches this weekend.
The 22nd-ranked Bulldogs, who beat archrival Grand Valley State by a 3-2 count in league play on Tuesday (Sept. 25) night in Allendale, will visit Tiffin on Friday, Sept. 28, for a 7 p.m. (ET) match in Tiffin, Ohio.
FSU then faces Ohio Dominican on Saturday, Sept. 29, starting at 1 p.m. (ET) in Columbus, Ohio.
The Bulldogs head into the weekend with a 10-3 overall record and are currently 4-1 in GLIAC action. FSU is one-game behind Northwood atop the GLIAC North Division standings.
Meanwhile, Tiffin owns a 4-7 mark going into Friday's encounter and is still searching for its first league win with an 0-5 record to date.
Ohio Dominican will host Grand Valley State on Friday and heads into the weekend owning a 6-6 overall record in addition to a 2-3 conference ledger.
A year ago, Ferris State also faced both schools on the road in Ohio and recorded a 3-1 victory at ODU (10/29/11) followed by a 3-0 sweep over Tiffin (10/30/11).
Ferris State has never lost to either squad heading into this weekend as the Bulldogs are 4-0 all-time versus Tiffin and a perfect 2-0 to date against Ohio Dominican.
After this weekend's two matches, the Bulldogs return home to Big Rapids for two contests next weekend when they host Ashland (Oct. 5) and Lake Erie (Oct. 6) inside the Ewigleben Sports Arena.
