Volleyball To Host Spring Scrimmage This Friday

Big Rapids, Mich.- The Ferris State University women's volleyball team will host a spring scrimmage against Cornerstone University this Friday (April 13) at the Ewigleben Sports Arena.

The two squads will square off at 5 p.m. (ET) with action running until approximately 7:30 p.m. (ET).

There is no admission fee to attend and all Bulldog fans are invited to come out and watch the action.

The Bulldogs posted a 27-4 overall record in the fall 2011 campaign as the team won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division crown and emerged as overall league co-champions.

Ferris State wrapped up the 2011 campaign by reaching the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Semifinals.  The Bulldogs also achieved their highest national ranking in more than 20 years this past season.
