"We're all anxious to start the season," said Brandel-Wilhelm.  "Every season is unique and exciting.  We have a number of players returning who will occupy new roles this upcoming season so we're counting upon them to grow and develop into productive contributors.  I know this team is entering the preseason with confidence, poise, and the hunger to be highly successful."

The Bulldogs will hold a combined practice with Jackson (Mich.) Community College on Friday, Aug. 20, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (EDT) prior to the two teams playing a scrimmage from 3-5 p.m. (EDT) at the Ewigleben Sports Arena.  The scrimmage is open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend.
