Ticket Info & Media Coverage For GLIAC Semis
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ticket information and media coverage plans have been announced for Ferris State University's appearance in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Basketball Tournament Semifinals and Finals this weekend (March 3-4).
The second-seeded Bulldogs will face third-seeded Tiffin on Saturday (March 3) in the semifinals at Ashland, Ohio. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m. (ET) inside Kates Gymnasium. Host and top-seeded Ashland will face number four seed Michigan Tech in the first semifinal at 1 p.m. (ET) with the winners meeting in the title game on Sunday (March 4) at 2 p.m. (ET).
Tickets the semifinals and finals will be available for purchase beginning one hour prior to the start of each session. Adult tickets are $10 per session (per day) or $4 for all students.
Local radio station Sunny 97.3 FM, in conjunction with the Bulldog Sports Network, will broadcast Ferris State's semifinal game and the title game, if necessary, live from Kates Gymnasium. Rob Bentley will call the play-by-play action starting with the Meijer Pregame Show at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on Saturday.
In addition to Sunny 97.3's live broadcast, a free live audio feed will also be streamed online by the Bulldog Sports Network at www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com. Ashland University will provide live internet statistics. However, there will be no live video offered for the tournament.

The winner of the GLIAC Tournament receives an automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament slated for March 9-12 at the site of the highest seed. Ashland was ranked first in this past week's NCAA-II Regional Rankings while the Bulldogs were fourth overall. The top eight teams will reach the tournament with the official announcement made this Sunday (March 4) at 10 p.m. (ET) on www.ncaa.com.
