Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University softball program will hold its annual "Senior Day" ceremony prior to Saturday's (April 21) Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader versus Saginaw Valley State at the FSU Softball Field.
The pregame ceremony will take place starting at 12:45 p.m. (ET) prior to the first pitch at 1 p.m. (ET). FSU will honor its senior trio of third baseman Makenzi Peterson, first baseman Chelsea Morris and outfielder Stephanie Dusendang in the event.
The three Bulldog seniors will play their final regular-season home series this weekend in Big Rapids as FSU hosts Saginaw Valley State for a four-game league set.
Following Friday's cancellation, the two teams will now play a four-game league series with two games each on Saturday and Sunday (April 21-22). After Saturday's competition, the two teams will play a rescheduled conference twinbill on Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. (ET).
The Bulldogs currently own a 23-21 overall mark this campaign and are 14-12 in GLIAC regular-season action to date.
