Weather Cancels This Sunday's Doubleheader Versus Wayne State

The Ferris State University softball team's doubleheader against Wayne State this Sunday (April 17) afternoon at the FSU Varsity Softball Field in Big Rapids, Mich., has been cancelled due to snow resulting in unplayable field conditions.

The Bulldogs, who have registered a current 15-17 overall record with a 12-8 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) North Division this season, will attempt to reschedule the conference doubleheader with the Warriors at a later date this month to be determined.

Ferris State returns to the field this Wednesday (April 20) to entertain the Northwood Timberwolves in a GLIAC twinbill at Big Rapids.  Opening pitch for game one is at 3:30 p.m. (EDT) with the second game to follow around 5:30 p.m. (EDT).
