Registration For Ferris State Softball Clinics Underway

Ferris State softball clinics to be held in February 2010.

For those individuals who have the desire to improve your skills on the diamond, the Ferris State University softball program has announced its individual and team clinic dates for 2010.

A pitching clinic will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13 for 7th-12th grade students and the cost is $35 per person (limited to 30 participants).  An offensive/defensive skills clinic will also take place later in the day on Feb. 13 with a $35 participation fee (limited to 60 participants).  Individuals are to supply their own equipment and gear.

A pair of team clinics is scheduled for Sundays (Feb. 14 and 28) in the new year.

Clinics will be conducted by the Bulldog softball coaching staff

Ferris State posted a 35-10 overall record this past spring and as a result the Bulldogs have won at least 30 games in a season nine times in the program's history.  FSU concluded the 2008 season with a 22nd-place national ranking.
