Bulldog Hockey vs. Ohio State: Follow All The Action Live!

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's ice hockey team opens its quest to reach Joe Louis Arena against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the second round of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Playoffs this weekend (March 15-17) and fans can follow all the action.

Ferris State will begin postseason action on the road against Ohio State in a best-of-three series set for this weekend (March 15-17) at the OSU Ice Rink in Columbus, Ohio. The quarterfinal-round series will get underway on Friday, March 15, proceeded by game two to be held on Saturday, March 16.  The deciding game, if necessary, is set to take place on Sunday, March 17.  All three contests are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. (ET) opening faceoffs.

All three games, if needed, will be carried live by local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with Dominic Hennig calling the play-by-play action and Dan Kowalski offering color commentary.  Pregame coverage begins with the Bush Insurance Pregame Show each night at 6:30 p.m. (ET) prior to the opening faceoff.  The broadcast is also accessible live online at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

In addition to the live local and internet broadcast coverage, Ohio State will also provide a FREE live video stream of this weekend's games.  The free online video will be available via Ohio State's Buckeye Vision platform at the link below.

Additionally, live internet statistics will be offered and Bulldog Hockey fans can also follow the action with in-game updates on the Bulldogs' official twitter links for both hockey (@FerrisHockey) and athletics (@FerrisAthletics).  Complete links are also available on FSU's Gameday Central website.

The winner of this weekend's playoff series will advance to the semifinals at Joe Louis Arena on Saturday, March 23.  The CCHA Championship game will take place on Sunday, March 24, in Detroit at 2:05 p.m. (ET).  The league's tournament champion receives an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
