Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's ice hockey team has climbed within two points of first place in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) standings after a weekend sweep over Michigan State and large crowds are expected for both of the Bulldogs' final two regular-season home weekends against Western Michigan (Feb. 1-2) and Bowling Green State (Feb. 15-16).
Tickets are currently on sale for all four of the remaining league regular-season home contests and two different ticket specials are being offered for all tickets purchased in advance while supplies last. Promotional prices are only available directly thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office.
Fans can buy two tickets for the Western Michigan series for only $25, which represents a savings of $9 for the premium games, which are normally $17 in advance or $19 on gameday.
In addition, a special "Buy One, Get One Free" offer is available for the two games versus Bowling Green State.
All tickets can be purchased directly thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex. The box office is open Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. (ET) to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours on Wednesday's until 7 p.m. (ET). For more information, fans can also call (231) 591-2888.

The Bulldogs have currently drawn more than 2,000 fans for each of their last five home contests this campaign with three sellouts. FSU also sold out five of its final six regular-season home contests during the historic 2011-12 season.
Ferris State completed a weekend home-and-home sweep over the Michigan State Spartans by posting a 5-2 triumph in CCHA action to close the final league series in regular-season play between the two teams before a sellout crowd of 2,490 fans at the Ewigleben Ice Arena in Big Rapids on Saturday (Jan. 19) night.
With the win, the Bulldogs held onto sole possession of fourth place in the league standings with 31 points and now trail league leaders Notre Dame and Western Michigan by only two points in the CCHA standings. Third-place Miami (Ohio) is only one point ahead of the Bulldogs after this past weekend's action.
The Bulldogs will be back in action this weekend (Jan. 25-26) as they travel to Notre Dame to take on the league-leading Fighting Irish for the only CCHA regular-season series between the two teams this season in South Bend, Ind. It will mark the for the final two CCHA regular-season matchups between the two teams. Puck drop is set to 7:35 p.m. (ET) on Friday night with the contest airing on CBS College Sports. Saturday's faceoff will begin at 7:05 p.m.
