#10 FSU Hockey Visits Bowling Green State
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's ice hockey
team will faceoff against the Bowling Green State Falcons this
weekend (Nov. 4-5) in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association
(CCHA) road series.
The two-game series gets underway this Friday (Nov. 4) at the BGSU
Ice Arena in Bowling Green, Ohio, and will conclude on Saturday
(Nov. 5). Both contests have 7:05 p.m. (EDT) slated start
times.
Ferris State is presently 6-2-0 overall and 2-2-0-(0) in the
Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) this season.
Meanwhile, Bowling Green currently holds a 4-3-1 overall record and
is 1-3-0 in conference play.
FSU and Bowling Green will face off for the 120th and 121st times
this weekend as they have been playing against each other since the
1978 season. The Falcons hold a 52-47-20 series' advantage with a
32-22-5 edge at home. However, the Bulldogs are 5-1 in the past six
matchups versus the Falcons.
The Bulldogs are currently ranked 10th in two of the primary
college hockey polls, including this week's U.S. College Hockey
Online (USCHO) NCAA Division I poll and the USA Today/USA
Hockey Magazine poll. FSU is also 11th in the Inside
College Hockey.com (INCH) poll. .
Both of this weekend's games will be broadcasted live on the
Bulldog Sports Network and Sunny 97.3 FM with Dominic
Hennig calling the play-by-play action and Dan
Kowalski offering color commentary. Along with the
local radio feed, both will also be streamed online at www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
The pregame show gets underway at 6:30 p.m. (ET).
