Ferris State Hockey "Early-Bird" Season Tickets On Sale June 14

The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced "early-bird" savings for 2010-11 Bulldog men's ice hockey season tickets will go on sale this Monday (June 14).

Season tickets for the 2010-11 home contests may be ordered exclusively at this time by contacting the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888.  The "early-bird" season tickets will be on sale through Friday, Sept. 17, while single home game tickets won't be available until Monday, Sept. 27.  The Bulldog Athletics Department will also be selling hockey season tickets during summer orientation on the FSU campus.

The "early-bird" season ticket prices for the 2010-11 Bulldog hockey campaign are as follows: 

Ferris State Student (with valid ID) -- $80

Reserved -- $175 (savings of 28%)

Faculty/Staff -- $165 (savings of 32%)

Seniors (60 yrs and older) -- $165  (savings of 32%)

K-12th grade -- $99  (savings of 28%)

Note - A $3 handling fee will be assessed for all 2010-11 season ticket orders.

The upcoming 2010-11 slate for the Bulldogs features 18 regular-season home appearances at FSU's Ewigleben Ice Arena along with a home exhibition matchup versus Ontario Institute of Technology on Saturday, Oct. 2.  The regular-season home opening series is set for Oct. 22-23 against Ohio State. All home start times are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. (ET) this season but are subject to change due to the yet released television broadcast schedule.  Fans should check the Ferris State Athletics Website at www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com for periodic updates and/or changes to the 2010-11 schedule.    

Ferris State, under head coach Bob Daniels, registered a 21-13-6 overall record with a third-place 13-9-6-4 Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) mark (49 league points) in the 2009-10 season.  The 21 victories by the nationally-ranked Bulldogs represented a tie for the fourth-most single-season wins in the program's history.
