For those fans wishing to watch one of college hockey's success stories this season, you will have an opportunity to do so at a savings as the Ferris State University Athletics Department announces the "Home Stretch Special" ticket package for the nationally-ranked Bulldog men's ice hockey team's remaining seven 2009-10 regular-season home contests.
Ferris State, which is presently 13-3-2 overall this season with a third-place 8-2-2-2 Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) mark, is enjoying its best start since the 1979-80 campaign. The Bulldogs, who are directed by 18th-year head coach Bob Daniels, recently capped off the 2009 portion of their season schedule riding a current 10-game (8-0-2) unbeaten streak.
The Bulldogs' remaining seven home outings this season feature contests against some of the top collegiate hockey teams in the nation. FSU will skate against several nationally-ranked Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) teams such as number one-ranked Miami (Ohio) and 11th-ranked Michigan State along with highly-competitive league foes Michigan, Northern Michigan, and Western Michigan.
The "Home Stretch Special" is as follows:
General Public - Save $20 and get the last seven regular-season home games for $72.
Students - Save money and guarantee yourself a spot in the Dawg Pound for the Michigan and Michigan State games. Get the remaining seven regular-season home games for $37.
