FSU Offering New Year's Special For Bulldog Basketball

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced a "New Year's Special" for Bulldog men's and women's basketball fans.
Both Bulldog teams will open the 2013 calendar year at home on Thursday, Jan. 3, against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) newcomer Malone at Jim Wink Arena. Tipoff for the men's contest is set for 6 p.m. (ET) with the women's game to follow at 8 p.m. (ET).
Fans purchasing tickets in advance directly thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office in person for the Jan. 3 contest against Malone can receive two tickets for the price of one if bought prior to gameday. The same offer will apply to FSU's contest the following Thursday on Jan. 10 versus Michigan Tech in Big Rapids.
In addition to the Jan. 3 game, the Bulldogs will also be at home on Saturday, Jan. 5, as they host the other new league school in Walsh at Wink Arena. The men's game begins at 1 p.m. (ET) with the women to follow at 3 p.m. (ET). It will be Kids Day and all kids in grades K-12 will be free with a paid adult.
A second Kids Day will also take place for the Saturday, Jan. 12, home game versus Northern Michigan.
All ticket specials are limited while supplies last and only available directly in person prior to gameday thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office.
Tickets for Bulldog basketball home games can be purchased thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex. For more information, please call (231) 591-2888 during normal business hours Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. (ET) to 5 p.m. (ET).

Prior to opening the New Year in Big Rapids, both the Bulldog men's and women's basketball teams will close out the 2012 calendar portion of their season on the road over the next week. FSU visits Findlay and Hillsdale on Saturday (Dec. 15) and Monday (Dec. 17) for league twinbills while the men's squad will also play a non-league game at Indianapolis on Dec. 19.
