Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball team hosts Alma College in non-league play on Tuesday (Dec. 6) evening at FSU's Jim Wink Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. (ET) for the FSU Faculty Appreciation Game.

Ferris State home basketball tickets are sold on gameday at Wink Arena and are $7 for adults or $5 for FSU faculty/staff, senior (ages 65+) and students K-12. Current FSU students are admitted free by showing a valid student ID card. For more ticket info, please call the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at (231) 591-2888.

The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 4-3 overall record to date this campaign and have won four-straight outings, including the first two conference road games this past week to open defense of their Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship from a year ago.

Meanwhile, Alma enters the game with a 2-4 overall record this season under first-year head coach Sam Hargraves, who played collegiately at Calvin College for current Bulldog assistant coach Ed Douma and also served as an assistant at Hillsdale under Douma alongside current FSU head coach Bill Sall.

Ferris State holds a 28-24 all-time series edge heading into Tuesday's 53rd matchup with Alma. The Bulldogs pulled out a narrow 47-43 victory in the last series' matchup (11/21/07) at Alma, Mich. FSU beat Alma 81-53 in the most recent contest held at FSU's Jim Wink Arena (11/27/06). Ferris State also defeated Alma 84-56 on the road in 2004-05 (12/28/04) under Coach Bill Sall, which was the first contest between the two schools in nearly 17 years.

The contest will be carried live by Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with Rob Bentley providing the play-by-play coverage.  The "Meijer Pregame Show" starts one-half hour prior to tipoff and the broadcast is also accessible online.  A live video webcast and live internet statistics will also be offered.  All available links can be found above or at
