Big Rapids, Mich. - The starting time has been adjusted for Ferris State University's men's basketball game against Wayne State in the NCAA-II Midwest Regional Tournament on Saturday (March 12) in Louisville, Ky.
The contest will now be the first of four regional quarterfinal games and start at 12 p.m. (Eastern Time).
FSU, which is presently 22-7 overall this season, is the Midwest region's sixth seed and will face third-seeded Wayne State (22-7) this Saturday (March 12) in regional quarterfinal round play at 12 p.m. (ET) in Louisville, Ky. Bellarmine University earned the right to host and will host the regional tournament. Ticket information and more game details will be announced in the next few days.
"We're happy to get into the NCAA Tourney," said FSU head coach Bill Sall. "I'm glad for our seniors that we got in and have a chance to continue our season. We're excited for the opportunity and thrilled to be in the field."
The Bulldogs and Wayne State were the only GLIAC member schools to earn berths in the regional field. Host Bellarmine (Ky.) is the top seed and will face eigth-seeded Indianapolis with second-seeded Southern Indiana taking on number seven seed Drury (Mo.). Finally, fourth-seeded Northern Kentucky will square off against fifth-seeded Kentucky Wesleyan.
The single-elimination national tournament field includes eight regions of eight teams apiece. The Midwest Regional champion will advance to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight set for March 23-26 in Springfield, Mass.
Ferris State dropped a 73-71 decision to Wayne State in the GLIAC Tournament Championship Game on Sunday (March 6) at FSU's Jim Wink Arena. Stay tuned for additional information.

12 p.m. - #3 Wayne State vs. #6 Ferris State
2:30 p.m. - #2 Southern Indiana vs. #7 Drury
6 p.m. - #1 Bellarmine vs. #8 Indianapolis
8:30 p.m. - #4 Northern Kentucky vs. #5 Kentucky Wesleyan
Sunday's regional semifinal games will be played in the evening with the championship game on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. (ET).
