Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University senior men's basketball player Justin Keenan (Grand Rapids/Ottawa Hills) will be featured for parts of three hours on regional television across sections of Northern Michigan on Tuesday (Feb. 22) morning.
Keenan will be shown on the popular "Michigan This Morning" (MTM) show, which airs on both 9&10 News and Fox 32 across northern lower Michigan and parts of the Upper Peninsula.
MTM reporter Michael Kasiborski recently interviewed Keenan at Jim Wink Arena and shot a variety of feature segments with him on the court that will be shown throughout the morning. In all, six segments of approximately two minutes apiece were taped and highlight Keenan's personality and performance on the floor.
Two segments will air on 9&10 News Tuesday morning from 6-7 a.m. (ET) with the other four segments being shown on Fox 32 between 7 and 9 a.m. (ET).
The interview segments with Keenan are part of the MTM "Sports In The North" week.
Keenan tied the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) all-time career scoring record in this past Saturday's (Feb. 19) 84-66 league home win over nationally third-ranked Findlay. The win allowed the Bulldogs to clinch the GLIAC North Division Championship and earn a quarterfinal-round home game in the upcoming GLIAC Tournament on Wednesday, March 2.
The 6-7 All-American will play his final regular-season home contest this Saturday (Feb. 26) as the Bulldogs battle archrival Grand Valley State at Jim Wink Arena. Tipoff for the Senior Day game is set for 1 p.m. (ET) and a special halftime ceremony will take place as former players are invited back to commemorate the program's "1,000 Wins" achieved earlier this month.
