Big Rapids, Mich. - After more than three weeks on the road, the Ferris State University men's and women's basketball teams will finally be back at home on Thursday, Jan. 6, as they host the Lake Superior State Lakers in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader at FSU's Jim Wink Arena.

The Bulldog men will square off against the Lakers in the opening game of the league doubleheader at 6 p.m. (ET) with the women's contest scheduled for an 8 p.m. (ET) start.
The contests will also represent the first conference games for both teams since a trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsuala prior to the holiday break on Dec. 18-19.
The Ferris State men's team currently holds an 8-5 overall record and is 4-2 in the GLIAC after Tuesday's (Jan. 4) non-conference road setback versus NCAA Division I Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, Mich.
Meanwhile, the women's squad is currently 6-6 overall and 2-4 in conference action following a split of two games in the Lady Bulldogs Holiday Classic hosted by Bowie State (Md.) this past week (Dec. 29-30) in Bowie, Md.
Following the Thursday home doubleheader versus LSSU, the Bulldogs will be back on the road for a conference twinbill at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday, Jan. 8, beginning with the men's game at 5 p.m. (ET) in University Center, Mich.
All of this week's action can be heard live over the internet via UStream and live internet statistics will also be offered for all games. FSU will also provide a live audio/video pay-per-view webcast via America One for Thursday's home doubleheader.
