Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University basketball fans will have a new way to follow the action this weekend as the Bulldogs travel to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a pair of conference contests.
Due to the holiday break closing, this weekend's men's and women's games will not be carried by Bulldog Radio.
However, a live online audio broadcast will still be provided for both the men's and women's basketball games and can be accessed via Ustream. The broadcasts will be available via FSU's official Ustream channel page at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/fsu-basketball.
Pregame coverage will start approximately 10 minutes before the men's contest with Rob Bentley providing the play-by-play coverage. The channel will appear online in broadcast mode once coverage begins and fans are reminded to make sure their speaker volume is turned up.
The Ferris State basketball teams first visit Michigan Tech on Saturday, Dec. 18, for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) twinbill against the Huskies in Houghton. FSU then heads to Marquette to face Northern Michigan on Sunday, Dec. 19. Both men's games are slated for 1 p.m. (ET) starts with the women to follow at approximately 3 p.m. (ET).
