Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball team recently had a special opportunity to travel to Bloomington, Ind., to face the NCAA Division I Indiana Hoosiers in exhibition play.
The Bulldogs departed on Sunday (Nov. 7) and held practice later that evening inside IU's historic Assembly Hall. FSU also held a morning shoot-a-round on Monday (Nov. 8) prior to the evening contest.
Ferris dropped a 78-65 overtime decision to the Hoosiers on Monday night at Assembly Hall after leading for the entire second half and nearly winning the contest as the final horn sounded in regulation before having the game-winning shot waved off after a replay review.
Photographer Ed Hyde of FSU Photo Services accompanied the Bulldogs on the trip and a collection of his work can be found via the university's official SmugMug site at the links below. All photos are available for purchase thru the site.
In all, the two photo galleries contain more than 1,500 images of the trip and include shots of coaches, players, fans, and supporters.
