M&W BB Notes: Grand Valley State (Jan. 11)
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men’s and
women's basketball teams have little time for rest as they quickly
return to the floor with a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader at archrival Grand Valley State on
Monday (Jan. 11) evening inside the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena at
Allendale, Mich.
The women's game is slated to tipoff at 6 p.m. (EST) with the
men's game to follow at approximately 8 p.m. (EST). Tickets
will be sold at the door.
The FSU women's contest will be carried live locally via Bulldog
Radio, which can be found on Charter TV Channel 21 in Mecosta
County or online at www.bulldogradio.org.
Meanwhile, the men's game will be aired on WBRN 1460 AM & 107.7
FM with an internet audio webcast available at
www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com. Rob Bentley
will provide the play-by-play coverage for both broadcasts.
In addition to the FSU broadcast coverage, a live video webcast
along with live internet statistics is also slated to be available
thru Grand Valley State. Please visit the FSU Athletics
Website at www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com and click
on the "upcoming events" tab in the schedule area for direct links
to all available coverage.
The FSU men's basketball team posted a convincing 67-41 in the
first meeting between the two West Michigan rivals earlier this
year (Nov. 30) at FSU's Jim Wink Arena in Big Rapids.
However, the Lakers won the women's contest with a 57-43
triumph.
