Ferris State To Host Pittsburg State In Second Round Of D2 Playoffs Saturday; Tickets On Sale Now!
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Bulldogs will square off against Pittsburg State (Kan.) in the second round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs on Saturday, Nov. 26, at Top Taggart Field. The official kickoff time is set for 1 p.m. (ET) and tickets are on sale now.
FSU is midst its eighth consecutive NCAA Division II Playoff berth and began its quest for the national championship as the number two seed in Super Region Three, beating Davenport 41-7 this past week in Big Rapids. The Bulldogs are currently 10-1 overall this season and will face for the first-time ever the unbeaten 12-0 Gorillas, who captured the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) title this fall.
Tickets for Ferris State's second-round home playoff game against the Gorillas are on sale now and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens (age 65+) along with $5 for students in grades K-12. In addition, FSU students and college students from competing schools with a valid student ID card are also $5. Children ages five and under are free.
Additionally, FREE football playoff tickets for the Bulldogs' first round game are also available for pickup to the first 500 FSU students with a valid student ID card beginning on Tuesday (Nov. 22) at 9 a.m. (ET). Free FSU student tickets can be picked up in person only at the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex. The free student tickets are first come-first served and available whiles supplies last. All tickets must be picked up in person, no phone orders will be allowed and a maximum of four tickets per student with four valid student ID's will be distributed.
Per NCAA policy, no comp passes or regular-season passes of any type will be accepted such as GLIAC passes, the D2 Pass for Two, etc.
Fans can purchase playoff tickets online 24 hours a day, seven days a week at FerrisStateBulldogs.com/Tickets. Tickets may also be purchased in person thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex.
The ticket office at the sports complex will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) Monday thru Wednesday this week, but will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to the Thanksgiving holdiay. In addition, the gameday ticket office inside the Wheeler Pavilion at Top Taggart Field will open on Saturday at 11 a.m. (ET) for ticket sales.
Tailgate lots will open on Saturday at 10 a.m. (ET) and parking will be $10 per vehicle or $30 for oversized vehicles.

FSU's berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs represents the 13th appearance in school history with the first five berths prior to the last eight years on the field all coming during a memorable five-year stretch from 1992-96. Overall, the Bulldogs hold an all-time NCAA Playoff mark of 22-11 to date and claimed the program's first NCAA Division II National Championship last fall.
