Big Rapids, Mich. - The matchup is officially set and the opponent is now known for the unbeaten Ferris State University football team's NCAA Division II Football Playoff game set for Saturday, Nov. 29, at Top Taggart Field.

The top-seeded Bulldogs, who received a first-round playoff bye, will host fifth-seeded Ohio Dominican on Nov. 29 starting at 12 p.m. (ET) on the FSU campus in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs. The Panthers beat fourth-seeded Colorado Mines on the road in round one Saturday 34-23 in Golden, Colo.

Saturday's matchup will mark the second meeting between the two schools this season as FSU posted a hard-fought 35-19 win over the Panthers in October (10/18) during Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) regular-season play at Columbus, Ohio.

Tickets for Ferris State's first home playoff game since 1996 are currently on sale and fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens (age 65+) along with $5 for students in grades K-12. In addition, students from both competing institutions with a valid ID card are also $5. Ferris State officially received the school's first NCAA Division II Playoff appearance in 18 years as the Bulldogs were tabbed as the number one seed in Super Region Four during the official NCAA Selection Show last week. A total of 24 teams from the four super regions received NCAA Playoff berths.

FSU's berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs will represent the sixth appearance in school history with the other five berths all coming during a memorable five-year stretch from 1992-96. The Bulldogs posted the highest finish in school history by reaching the national semifinals in 1995.

Ferris State, which is consensus top-four team in every national poll, capped off the school's first-ever 11-0 regular-season with a thrilling 46-42 comeback win over Walsh University on the road last Saturday (Nov. 15) at historic Fawcett Stadium located at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

FSU will enter the playoffs with a perfect 11-0 record and the Bulldogs claimed the school's first GLIAC Championship since 1999 with an unbeaten 10-0 conference mark. FSU also captured its first outright league crown since 1996.

Presently, the Bulldogs own a school-record and nation-leading 15-game win streak dating back to last year. FSU's 11-straight wins to open the season is also its best in 19 years.
