Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University football fans across Northern Michigan will have an opportunity to hear more about Bulldog Football as new head coach Tony Annese will be a featured guest on the Ferris Sports Update television program this Thursday (Jan. 26) evening on Fox 32.

Ferris Sports Update, which is a half-hour interview show profiling Ferris State Athletics, airs across most of Northern Michigan on Fox 32 each Thursday night at 10:30 p.m. (ET) throughout the year. The show is produced by Ferris State University's Television and Digital Media Production (TDMP) students in partnership with the Bulldog Athletics Department.

The host of the show is Rob Bentley of the FSU Athletics Communications Office, who also serves as the local radio play-by-play voice for Bulldog Football and is in his 12th year working for Ferris State Athletics. He and Coach Annese will discuss the transition, hiring of a new coaching staff, the upcoming signing day and more.

In addition to Coach Annese, this week's program also features Bulldog Hockey head coach Bob Daniels and women's basketball head coach Tracey Dorow.  

The 30-minute program is taped and produced in a studio within the Interdisciplinary Resource Center (IRC) Building on the FSU campus. In addition to airing on Fox 32, the show is also accessible via the Grand Rapids Community College cable channel in the greater Grand Rapids market and airs locally on Ferris' Cable Television Channel at selected times throughout the week.

In addition, free live on-demand streaming of the show is available over the internet on a continuous basis atwww.ferrisstate.tv.  Segments of the show are also utilized via the official FSU Athletics website and multimedia portal at www.FerrisStateBulldogs.com along with various university social networking platforms.

Coach Annese was appointed as the school's 13th head coach on Dec. 22 following a highly-successful three year stint as the head coach at Grand Rapids Community College.  He also achieved outstanding success as a head coach on the prep level at four stops, including Muskegon High School from 2000-08.
