Big Rapids, Mich. - A special live online chat, the "Bulldog Blitz" Season Preview, took place Wednesday night and offered a complete and in-depth look at the Ferris State University football team as the Bulldogs prepare for the 2010 season opener.

The live chat was part of continuing game week coverage at www.ferrisstatebulldogs.com leading up to FSU's initial contest on Friday (Sept. 3) evening at Hillsdale.

The chat, which was powered by a service called CoverItLive, was co-hosted by FSU Associate Athletics Communications Director/Football SID Rob Bentley and local journalist Sandy Gholston, who works in the school's University Advancement and Marketing Department and has covered Bulldog football locally for more than 13 years.  The duo will also call the game for local radio station WYBR (102.3 FM) on Friday night.

In addition to comments from the show hosts, Bulldog fans also had the opportunity to ask questions, which were reviewed for content before being posted by the site administrator.  Fans were also able to participate in live fan polls during the chat and view photos posted within the discussion.
