The Complete 2010 "Countdown" Series

Big Rapids, Mich. - Now that the "Countdown To Kickoff" series is complete, kickoff time is almost here for the Ferris State University football team.

FSU will kickoff its 102nd season of varsity competition Friday, Sept. 3, against the Hillsdale Chargers in a 7 p.m. (EDT) non-conference contest at HC's Muddy Waters Stadium in Hillsdale, Mich.

With the season opener approaching, the complete Bulldog Football season preview is available via the eight-part "Countdown To Kickoff" series, which concluded Thursday as part of FSU's continuing online game week coverage.

The series' was put together by the FSU Athletics Communications Office and included a short daily report with a different position group featured each day.  Last Friday's premiere article highlighted the quarterbacks followed daily by the running backs, wide receivers and offensive line.

The series' continued with the defensive side of the ball as the linemen were featured this past Tuesday (Aug. 31) followed by the linebackers.  It concluded with a final two-part feature on both the secondary and special teams units.
