Big Rapids, Mich. - Parents and others associated with the 2010 Ferris State University football team will have an exciting opportunity to purchase individual and team photos online from Friday's (Aug. 27) media/fans photo day event held at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids, Mich.

FSU Photo Services will be the official photographers for the event and will take individual photos of each player in uniform along with a team photo of the 2010 Bulldogs on Friday afternoon when the photo day portion begins at 1 p.m. (ET).

For the first time ever, following the photo shoot, the pictures will be available for viewing online within the next week thru the department's official online gallery powered by Smug Mug at: http://www.ferrisphotos.smugmug.com.

Those interested in purchasing photos should visit the site and click on the current season (2010-11) under gallery categories to find the sport and event.

A variety of print sizes will be available with several paper and cost options.  In addition, a variety of other items are also available such as magnets, key chains, buttons, trading cards, etc.

Payment can be made online using SmugMug's secure system and various shipping methods are offered.  All photos will be shipped directly to the person making the purchase from Smug Mug.

In addition to the photo day pictures, FSU Photo Services will also sell images from selected events throughout the year via the online site, which debuted last winter.


About The Media/Fans Photo Day Event:

The program's annual Media/Fans Photo Day will be held in conjunction with the squad's final preseason scrimmage this Friday at Top Taggart Field. There is no admission charge and the general public is welcome to attend the event. The Bulldogs will play their final 2010 fall camp scrimmage starting at 9 a.m. (EDT) on the newly-installed Mondo Ecofill artificial surface at Top Taggart Field.

Regional and statewide media are encouraged to attend the event, which will feature the availability of Ferris State football student-athletes and coaches for interviews following the scrimmage around 11 a.m. (EDT).

The Ferris State players and coaches will report back to the stadium at 1 p.m. (EDT) for the program's annual photo day activities. Team and individual photos will be taken and players will be available to fans for autographs and photographs in uniform. Additionally, any media representatives who are unable to attend in the morning will also have an opportunity to interview coaches and players at this time.
