Time Change For FSU Football Home Opener
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Athletics
Department has announced the official starting time has been
changed for the Bulldogs' first home football contest of the 2010
campaign.
FSU will host the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals in their home
opener on Saturday, Sept. 11, with kickoff set now for 6 p.m. (EDT)
at Top Taggart Field. The time was moved up one hour from the

The Bulldogs will kick off their 2010 home schedule in week two
against SVSU under the lights on Top Taggart Field's Mondo Ecofill
artificial-playing surface as part of the "Honoring American
Heroes" Day contest.
As part of the activities for the home opener, FSU will honor
those who serve our country with all first responders such as
police, ambulance, firefighters earning free admission along with
all veterans and current military members. One dollar of each
ticket sold will support the FSU Veterans Student Organization.
The day's activities will begin with a high school gridiron
contest between Big Rapids and White Cloud at 1 p.m. (EDT) followed
by a Red, White and Blues tailgate event sponsored by FSU Student
Government between games. After the FSU-SVSU contest, a
concert will take place inside the stadium at approximately 9 p.m.
(EDT) with the annual postgame fireworks display following at 9:45
p.m.
Tickets for the home-opening event will be sold at the stadium on
