FSU Football Ticket Information Available
Tickets for all 2009 Ferris State University home football games
are currently available or will be sold at the stadium prior to
each of FSU's five home contests this fall at Top Taggart Field in
Big Rapids.
General admission seating for four of the five home games will be
$7 with a special price of $5 for all senior citizens, FSU
faculty/staff and students in grades K-12. A premium game
price of $10 for general admission seats will be offered for
Ferris' home contest versus Grand Valley State (Sept. 19).
Additionally, all current Ferris State students with ID and
children younger than Kindergarten age will be admitted free of
charge.
Fans can save over 25% off of regular prices by purchasing a
football season ticket package. The package is good for two
people at a total cost of $50 for general admission seating.
Group sale prices are available for those with a group of 20 or
more for $5 per general admission ticket.
Tailgating at FSU home games will be permitted beginning three
hours prior to kickoff and at halftime only. The Wheeler
Pavilion Ticket Office will open approximately two hours prior to
game time.
Along with being sold at the game, tickets for FSU home football
games can also be obtained by stopping by the FSU Athletics Ticket
Office or available through StarTickets either online at www.startickets.com or by calling
(800) 585-3737.
Tickets will not be sold over the phone by the FSU Athletics
Ticket Office and only cash or checks will be
accepted. The only way to purchase tickets online
or by phone is via Star Tickets, which also accepts credit
card payments.

In addition to five home contests during the 2009 season at Top
Taggart Field, the Bulldogs will also serve as the host for the
"Battle At The Ballpark" versus Michigan Tech on Saturday, Oct. 3,
at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park.
General public tickets for the "Battle At The Ballpark" are $10
with all college students and those is grades K-12 being charged $5
per ticket. The game on the home field of Minor League
Baseball's West Michigan Whitecaps will be a no-pass event and
everyone will be required to purchase a ticket.
To purchase tickets in advance to the "Battle At The Ballpark", please stop by the FSU Athletics Ticket Office (cash/check only) or call the West Michigan Whitecaps Ticket Office at (616) 784-4131. Tickets for this contest will also be sold at all FSU home games leading up to the Oct. 3 contest.
Ferris State will kickoff its 101st season of varsity
competition Saturday, Aug. 29, against the Tiffin (Ohio) Dragons in
a 7 p.m. (EDT) non-conference contest at Top Taggart Field. The
game will take place during FSU "Welcome Week" activities and be
part of a true "Community Football Day" atmosphere as Big Rapids
High School will also open its 2009 season versus Holton earlier in
the day (2:30 p.m.) in the same facility and a rocket football
contest will be part of the FSU halftime events.
A number of special promotions are planned with each FSU home
contest this fall.
