FSU Athletics Featured On TV This Weekend
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University Athletics will be
featured on the Grand Rapids area's popular weekend show by Maranda
called "Where You Live" this weekend.
The Bulldog hockey and football teams will be featured in a segment
on athletics pertaining to college opportunities and the overall
recruiting process.
The show will air live this Friday (Oct. 15) evening at 7 p.m. on
WXSP, Saturday (Oct. 16) at 7:30 a.m. on WOTV and again Saturday
(Oct. 16) evening at 6:30 p.m. on WOOD-TV8. All are stations
found in the Grand Rapids area market and available on selected
cable and satellite providers across West Michigan.
Additionally, the segment will also be available via the show's
official website at www.marandatv.com starting early next week.
A pair of show crew members were on-campus this past Tuesday to
tape the segment and conducted interviews with both FSU hockey head
coach Bob Daniels and Bulldog football head coach
Jeff Pierce in addition to several
student-athletes from both programs. They also spent time
shooting highlights of practices involving both teams.
"Where You Live" is a weekly half-hour program hosted by
Maranda. Each week’s show features a combination of
information, inspiration and insights for West Michigan
parents. The show is taped in communities throughout West
Michigan and is about real family life.
The show looks at issues impacting families and explores local
angles on a wide variety of topics ranging from potty training to
fitness and family fun.
