Ferris State Soccer Unveils Challenging 2025 Fall Schedule
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer program will embark on a challenging 2025 campaign this fall as the Bulldogs' upcoming slate was recently announced by head coach Greg Henson.
This fall, the Bulldogs are slated to play a total of 18 regular-season contests to go with a pair of exhibition outings. Overall, FSU will play four regional non-league opponents prior to beginning the highly-competitive Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) race.
After facing Calvin and Lewis in preseason action, Ferris State will officially open the regular-season on the road at Cedarville on Sept. 4 before returning to Big Rapids for the home opener against Indianapolis on Sept. 7.
The following week, the Bulldogs will play their final two non-conference contests in Ohio with road trips to Findlay (Sept. 12) and Walsh (Sept. 14).
FSU open league action at home by hosting Davenport on Sept. 19 and Purdue Northwest on Sept. 21 before a grueling three-match road swing with contests at Roosevelt (Sept. 28) followed by the annual trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to face defending league champion Northern Michigan (Oct. 3) and Michigan Tech (Oct. 5).
The Bulldogs will be back at home versus longtime West Michigan rival Grand Valley State on Oct. 10 and then make trips to Davenport (Oct. 12), Purdue Northwest (Oct. 17) and Parkside (Oct. 19) before hosting Michigan Tech (Oct. 24) and Northern Michigan (Oct. 26) in return games.
Ferris State's final three regular-season contests are slated for November starting with a trip to Saginaw Valley State (Nov. 2). FSU then concludes the regular-season at home with a rare Thursday-Saturday slate versus Parkside (Nov. 6) and Roosevelt (Nov. 8).
All home regular-season outings this year are again slated to begin at 1 p.m. (ET). A complete schedule can be found at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
The Bulldogs closed the 2024 season with an 8-7-4 overall record. Overall, the Bulldogs also made their 17th conference tournament in program history and celebrated the 25th anniversary of the program last fall.
Since Henson's arrival, the Bulldogs have claimed the program's first GLIAC regular-season title, first league tournament championship, made two NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time in school history.
The Bulldogs return a veteran nucleus this coming fall and also inked a total of 13 standouts, including 11 incoming freshmen for the fall of 2025 along with a pair of NCAA Division I transfers.
