Ferris State STUNT Records Home Sweep To Close Out Inaugural Campaign

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University STUNT team closed out its historic inaugural campaign with a big home sweep on Sunday (April 12), beating Central Michigan & Quincy at Wink Arena.

The Bulldogs claimed an impressive 28-7 win over the Chippewas in the first match of the day before topping the Hawks by a 26-7 count in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

With the two victories, the Bulldogs capped off their first campaign with a 12-8 overall record, including a perfect 4-0 home mark.

FSU was ranked 15th nationally in the Division II National Rankings this past week and narrowly missed advancing to the national championships.

The addition of the college STUNT program at FSU this year represented the first sport added by the university in 25 years. The sport is an exciting head-to-head competition between teams who execute skills-based routines in various categories including partner stunts, jumps and tumbling, pyramids and tosses along with team routines. It is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the country and became the 18th team in Ferris State's athletic program lineup.

The Bulldogs, who were guided by first-year head coach Perrmella Harris, competed as an associate member in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) in STUNT in the inaugural 2025-26 season.
