Ferris State STUNT Team Earns Day Two Split In Texas

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University STUNT team closed out its trip to Texas with a split on Saturday (March 7) at the St. Edwards Tournament in Austin.

The Bulldogs, who went 2-0 in Friday's opening day action, finished the event on day two with a victory over host and 21st-ranked St. Edwards by a 22-11 score in the opener before falling to nationally 13th-ranked Texas Woman's University by a 28-21 count in the finale.

FSU closed the trip with a 3-1 record and is now 8-5 overall to date in its inaugural season of action.

Over the two days of competition in Texas, the Bulldogs beat three top 22 ranked teams in the nation, including #20 Texas A&M Kingsville, #21 St. Edwards and #22 Southern Nazarene based on the latest College STUNT rankings. Presently, FSU is ranked 18th nationally in Division II.

The Bulldogs will next be in action on March 22 as they face Walsh and Malone in Ashland, Ohio.
