20 Bulldog Hockey Players Named to CCHA 2023-24 All-Academic Team

Big Rapids, Mich. – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) released its All-Academic Team for 2023-24, and 20 Ferris State University men's ice hockey players were named to the team, including 11 Scholar Athlete-Team members.

The CCHA's All-Academic team is earned with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better, including sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate level students.

Ferris State All-Academic Team Selections: Drew Cooper, Kaleb Ergang, Joey Henson, Brenden MacLaren, Connor McGrath, Nick Nardecchia, Stepan Pokorny, Logan Stein, Antonio Venuto.

Scholar Athletes are honored for a 3.5 cumulative GPA or better, again including sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate level students.

Ferris State Scholar Athlete Award Winners: Nico DeVita, Jacob Dirks, Caiden Gault, Nick Grimaldi, Nick Hale, Austin McCarthy, Andrew Noel, Tyler Schleppe, Ben Schultheis, Travis Shoudy.

This is the second consecutive season the Bulldogs have had 20 players named to the CCHA All-Academic Team.
