The Ferris State men’s ice hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to the nationally 13th ranked University of Michigan on Saturday (Oct. 15) despite nearly doubling the Wolverines in shots. Sophomore forward Andrew Mayer had the lone Ferris State goal on a power play in the third to even the contest at 1-1, while sophomore forward Corey Mackin tallied his first assist of the season in front of a sold-out crowd of 2,516.
