FSU Men's Golf Places 13th Overall At Tennessee River Rumble

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's golf team concluded action in 13th place overall at the Tennessee River Rumble as final round play took place on Tuesday (March 24) at Windriver Golf Club in Lenoir City, Tenn.

The Bulldogs shot a three-round 900 team score in the 54-hole event hosted by Lincoln Memorial University. FSU shot scores of 295 in round one, 300 in round two and 305 in the third and final round of the 18-team event.

A total of eight of the nation's top 50-ranked teams competed in the field.

FSU was led by Ben Miller, who placed tied for 13th overall at 219 for the tournament. He shot scores of 75, 71 and 73 in the three rounds, respectively.

Meanwhile, Kole Putnam placed tied for 40th at 225 overall, shooting scores of 74, 73 and 78 in the event.

The Bulldogs' Ethan Frost came in tied for 55th with a 228 total score. He notched a 74 in the first round and a 79 in round two before closing with a 75.

Ferris State's Sam Havey also competed and wound up tied for 78th with a 234 figure. Havey shot a 78 in the first round, a 77 in round two and a 79 in the last round.

Finally, the Bulldogs' Ray Dress placed tied for 83rd. He carded a 236 total with scores of 72, 81 and 83 in each of the three rounds, respectively.

The Bulldogs will next be in action on March 30-31 at the FIndianapolis Intercollegiate.
