Third Annual Dawgs After Dark Set For This Friday Night! Free Event!
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced the Bulldogs' third annual "Dawgs After Dark" event will take place this Friday, Oct. 24, at Jim Wink Arena.
The event, which is sponsored by Campus Communities, will have a midnight madness type feel and highlight the Bulldog men's and women's basketball squads as they get ready to hit the floor for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.
All FSU students are encouraged to attend the evening event with free pizza to be distributed along with an opportunity to win prizes and watch both Bulldog squads hit the floor.
Students are encouraged to arrive early for food and the doors will open to Wink Arena at 7 p.m. (ET) with the event starting at 7:30 p.m. Bulldog students will be selected to compete in various contests and the Ferris State men's and women's squads are introduced.
After the Bulldog Basketball squads are introduced, the players will compete in a co-ed three-point contest followed by a dunk contest and short scrimmages for both teams.
Additionally, one lucky studnet will have an opportunity to shoot the Campus Communities Shot for a chance to win $10,000.
The event is free and open to both FSU students and the general public.
Both Ferris State squads tipoff the season after strong campaigns a year ago, which saw both teams again reach the NCAA Tournament.
