Bulldog Men's Basketball Falls At Toledo In Exhibition Play

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball squad battled NCAA Division I Toledo on Saturday (Oct. 21) in exhibition play, but fell 93-62 on the road in Toledo, Ohio, against the two-time defending MAC Champions.

The Bulldogs trailed 29-25 at half before the Rockets took control to come away with the win in the second period of play.

The Bulldogs played a total of 16 players in the contest, including three freshmen.

Senior forward Dolapo Olayinka led the Bulldogs with 12 ponits in the setback while newcomer DeSean Munson had eight points and Ethan Erickson chipped in seven points. Overall, a total of 12 different players scored in the contest.

Ferris State will return home to host its annual Alumni Game on Sunday, Oct. 29, at Jim Wink Arena.
