Bulldog Sports Network Coverage Plans Set For Texas Trip With Special Preview Show Thursday
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Bulldog Sports Network and local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM have announced expanded coverage plans this week for the Bulldogs' appearance in the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championship Game in McKinney, Texas.
The Voice of the Bulldogs will air a special one-hour "National Championship Preview" show this Thursday (Dec. 18) morning from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ET) from the team hotel in Texas. It will be hosted by the veteran broadcast crew of Rob Bentley and Sandy Gholston with a look inside and preview of Saturday's title game matchup.
Thursday morning's show will also be streamed on the Bulldog Sports Network portal at FerrisStateBulldogs and available following the broadcast on demand along with on YouTube @FerrisAthletics.
Additionally, on Saturday, the Johnson Automotive Pregame Show will begin an hour prior to kickoff with a full pregame show on Sunny 97.3 FM starting at 3 p.m. (ET) as Bentley and Gholston team up once again. The duo will then call the battle between the Bulldogs and the Harding Bisons live from the McKinney ISD Stadium with kickoff set for 4:03 p.m. (ET). The Preferred Office Machines postgame show will follow the tilt.
The preview show, pregame show and the game broadcast will all be carried live both on Sunny 97.3 FM and online across the Bulldog Sports Network at FerrisStateBulldogs.com along with 96.1 The Game in Grand Rapids and Metro Flint News/Talk Radio. Saturday's game will be televised by ESPN2.
