NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHP GAME! Ferris State To Face Harding In D2 Title Game On Dec. 20 In Texas

Big Rapids, Mich. - The 2025 NCAA Division II National Championship Game is set as defending national champion Ferris State will square off against Harding (Ark.) on Saturday, Dec. 20, in McKinney, Texas.

Kickoff for the game is set for 4 p.m. (ET) at the McKinney ISD Stadium and the game will be carried live on ESPN2.

Ferris State will be making its fifth NCAA D2 National Championship Game appearance and will be seeking its fourth national title in the last five seasons. Meanwhile, Harding returns to the title contest after capturing the 2023 national championship as the matchup pits the last two D2 national champions.

The Bulldogs own a 15-0 mark entering the championship game and beat Newberry (Fla.) 49-17 on Saturday (Dec. 13) in the D2 Semifinals at FSU's Top Taggart Field. Harding also holds a 15-0 mark to date and topped Kutztown (Pa.) 49-27 in the semifinals on the road.

Overall, the Bulldogs have won their last 29 games in a row dating back to last season and FSU earned a 41-7 win over Harding last year in the Super Region Three Championship Game en route to a national title.
