Overall, a total of 811 student-athletes from the 16 league institutions received recognition in seven different sports, including 381 on the All-Academic Team and another 430 on the All-Academic Excellence list.
The 34 Ferris State student-athletes earning recognition came from the winter sports teams including men's and women's basketball along with men's and women's indoor track and field.
Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first year transfer student.
