Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's volleyball squad will host archrival Grand Valley State in a battle of nationally-ranked teams on Tuesday (Oct. 1) night inside the Ewigleben Sports Arena beginning at 7 p.m. (ET).
Tickets for the match will be sold at the door beginning one hour prior to match time. Adult tickets are $5 for home contests while senior citizens (65+), FSU faculty/staff and students age 3 to 12th grade are $3 each. Ferris State students are admitted free by showing their student ID cards.
The Bulldogs moved up two spots to 22nd this week in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II Top 25 poll while the Lakers are listed 17th in the country.
Additionally, both teams currently share the GLIAC North Division lead with perfect 4-0 league marks to date this season and are the only remaining unbeaten teams in league competition. GVSU is 10-2 overall while the Bulldogs are 9-3 on the year.
Overall, Grand Valley State enters Tuesday's showdown riding an eight-match winning streak while the Bulldogs have claimed five-straight wins to date, including four consecutive sweeps to begin GLIAC play over the last two weekends.

FSU trails GVSU 59-43 in the all-time series to date, but the Bulldogs have won three of the past four matchups entering Tuesday's match.
The contest will begin a three-match homestand this week for the Bulldogs, who will also host Tiffin in conference play on Friday (Oct. 4) night at 7 p.m. (ET) before entertaining Ohio Dominican for another league tilt on Saturday (Oct. 5) afternoon beginning at 5 p.m. (ET).
