Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team wrapped up its own Bulldog Fall Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 16) at FSU's Katke Golf Course.
The Bulldogs shot a 319 team score in the final 18 holes of action after carding a 327 first-round figure on Friday. FSU totaled a 646 effort for the 36 holes of competition while placing 10th overall at +70 for the tourney.
FSU's Baylee Thompson came in tied for 11th overall at 154 on rounds of 78 and 76 over the two days of action, respectively.
Meanwhile, Morgan Zloto came in tied for 32nd with a 162 total. She shot an 82 in round one followed by a 80 in the second round.
The Bulldogs' Mari Suokko carded a 162 and tied for 32nd as well with a first-round 80 before notching an 82 in the final round.
Ferris State's Margo Brown placed 55th at 175 on rounds of 87 and 88 with both Danielle Frank and Shayna Schneider tying for 56th overall with 176 scores. Frank shot a first-round 95 and came back with an 81 in the final round while Schneider carded a 92 in round one and closed with an 84 in the last round.
The Bulldogs are next in action on Sept. 23-24 at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational.
