Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team was honored Wednesday for its accomplishment in winning the University of Indianapolis Fall Invitational earlier this week by being chosen as WOOD Radio's Montell Construction Team of the Day.
A new team from West Michigan is selected and honored by the Grand Rapids-based station each day this fall as part of the "Montell Hometown Team of the Day" program. The winning team is announced following the morning sports update from longtime sports radio personality Bret Bakita at 7:19 a.m. on Wood Radio 1300 AM and 106.9 FM.
