Bulldog Women's Team Tours Nation's Capital
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball team spent part of Tuesday (Dec. 28) touring the nation's capital, which included a visit to the White House in Washington, D.C.
In addition to visiting the world-famous home of the President, the Bulldogs also saw other important sites throughout the area including the Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol Building, Eisenhower Building and Arlington National Cemetary among others.
The Bulldogs returned from a week-long holiday break on Monday (Dec. 27) and traveled by bus to Maryland, where they will compete in the Bowie State Lady Bulldogs Holiday Classic on Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 29-30). They used Tuesday's off-day to see the sights and rest up for the event.
Ferris State returns to the floor against Virginia Union in the opening game of the classic on Wednesday (Dec. 29) at 4 p.m. (ET) before facing host Bowie State on Thursday (Dec. 30) at 6 p.m. (ET) in Bowie, Md.
